Lobby doors open 60 minutes before curtain, with a cash bar for some performances. Seating begins 30 minutes before curtain.
Refunds & Exchanges Policy
By purchasing tickets or enrolling in classes with Southeast Alabama Community Theatre, you are making a nonrefundable reservation. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer tickets to another party by contacting the box office with the change at least 48 hours in advance of the performance. All sales are final. In the event your performance is cancelled, a refund for tickets may be issued at the option of the management. This refund may not include additional ticketing fees. Exchanging performances is a benefit reserved for Season Members, and dependent on seating available.

You agree that the management, its agents, and the performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from such causes. No unlawful alcohol, drugs, weapons, or food allowed. You further consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein.

Madagascar Jr.
Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends — Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo — have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape — with the help of some prodigious penguins — to explore the world.

The Western Front: Christmas 1914. Out of the violence of World War I, a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.” Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. An a cappella chorale, All Is Calm is a remarkable true story in the words and songs of the men who lived it.

Alabama Story
As the Civil Rights movement is brewing, a controversial children’s book about a black rabbit marrying a white rabbit stirs the passions of a segregationist State Senator and a no-nonsense State Librarian in 1959 Montgomery, Alabama. A contrasting story of childhood friends—an African American man and a white woman of privilege, reunited in adulthood—provides private counterpoint to the public events swirling in the state capital. Love, Sex, and the IRS
Jon Trachtman and Leslie Arthur are out of work musicians who room together in New York City. To save money, Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as married. The day of reckoning comes when the Internal Revenue Service informs the “couple” they’re going to be investigated. Leslie masquerades as a housewife, aided by Jon’s fiancée, Kate. Complicating matters further, Leslie and Kate are having an affair behind Jon’s back, Jon’s mother drops in unexpectedly to meet her son’s fiancée, and Leslie’s ex-girlfriend shows up demanding to know why Leslie has changed and won’t see her anymore. Like a cross between I Love Lucy and Some Like it Hot.

SEACT Student Showcase
A group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
Our competition team will take this 20-minute cut of Godspell JR. to the National Performing Arts Festival in Orlando, FL. Come see our most advanced students in this vocally and choreographically impressive ensemble piece and enjoy individual student performances from a range of musical theatre favorites.

The Outsiders
This is the searing story of real kids in real situations with real consequences seen through the eyes of young Ponyboy. Territorial battles between the have-it-made rich kids — the Socs — and Ponyboy’s tough, underprivileged “greaser” family and friends are just a part of life. But even in the midst of urban gang warfare, somehow Ponyboy can’t forget a short poem that speaks to their fragile young lives. This heroic story of belonging, friendship, and maintaining hope in the face of struggle is a powerful reminder of what young people encounter every day. Includes mature themes, violence, suggestions of both alcohol use and sexual activity. Recommended for ages 12+ at family's discretion.
